European Union/EAA Scholarship
Who is it for?
The University of Lincoln’s European Union Scholarship is designed to help students from across the European Union to access postgraduate level study at the University of Lincoln. The European Union Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2025/26 academic year.
September 2025 and January 2026 Entry
Scholarship Amount
The European Union Scholarship is valued at £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies.
Selection Criteria
In order to be eligible to receive the European Union Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, an EU member state country: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, or Sweden.
- Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2025 or January 2026.
- Have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University.
If you’re eligible to receive the European Union Scholarship, you may also be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount of £1,000 - £1,500 through our Advance Full Payment Discount or Early Payment Discount. To find out more information about eligibility criteria, please visit our webpage.
