This workshop discusses key trends affecting financial services firms with a focus on financial innovation such as Fintech, Bigtech and digital currencies.

A group activity using accounting interpretation skills to identify the company from their financial statements.
Macroeconomics and Macroeconomics Policy
We will focus on understanding the big-picture of the overall economy such as unemployment, GDP, inflation and what is the role of governments and central banks.
Accounting - Its Relevance to Business and to You
Learn about the purpose of accounting for a range of business users and also the huge variety of career opportunities presented by having an accountancy and finance degree. Includes group and individual activities.
