Welcome to the Lincoln International Business School’s Outreach Website for Schools and Colleges
At Lincoln International Business School, our aim is to provide our students with an educational experience that is internationally relevant and culturally diverse. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in a broad range of business subjects.
This website is designed specifically for schools and colleges to access a range of bookable outreach sessions delivered by academics within the Business School.
Bookable Activities and Resources from Our Departments
Each department within the Business School has their own section and a range of activities linked to the programmes they deliver at undergraduate level. If you would like to book any of the workshops, please send an email to our Marketing and Recruitment Officer, Ed Letherby: eletherby@lincoln.ac.uk.
Please include the following details:
1. Name of school/college
2. The programme and title of the activity you wish to book
3. Suggested available dates and times for the activity
Our goal is to continue to build meaningful connections with a wide range of schools and colleges. Therefore, we encourage you to book workshops from our different programme areas throughout the academic year.
Once we have received your request, our Marketing and Recruitment Officer will liaise with the relevant academics to confirm a mutually agreeable time and date.
Our Marketing and Recruitment Officer will then be back in touch with more information. Please note that there is a minimum three-week turnaround from receiving the initial email and the confirmation of booking due to teaching commitments and scheduling.
We look forward to hearing from you and working with you soon.
Bespoke workshops designed to give a taste of University study
Our academic community, made up of a diverse range of skilled researchers and experienced industry professionals, have created a series of workshops designed to give your students a taste of what life is like at Lincoln International Business School, and to get them excited about the prospect of studying business at university.
The workshops we’ve put together cover all of our programme areas to make it easier for you to identify the sessions that are of interest to your students, as well as align with your curriculum and current teaching, whilst also exploring contemporary issues affecting the world of business.
These sessions can be delivered virtually and we’re looking forward to being able to deliver these face to face, either at your campus or here at the University of Lincoln, once conditions and government guidelines allow.
In addition to our programme areas, we’re also offering workshops in two fundamental areas of university life - global experiences and employability. Enabling students to broaden their horizon with the freedom to explore and expand cultural boundaries, develop business acumen, and cultivate a range of skills sought after by employers.

Accountancy, Finance, and Economics Workshops
These workshops explore a range of topics around accounting, finance, and economics from big-picture discussion about the overall economy, to understanding the purpose of accounting and using accounting interpretation skills on company financial statements, through to the future of finance covering key trends and financial innovations such as Fintech, Bigtech, and digital currencies.

Management Workshops
These workshops explore a variety of leadership, management, and logistics topics with discussions ranging from the challenges we face in delivering goods around the world in an environmentally sustainable way through to looking at strategy and strategic concepts, motivation theory, and management and leadership styles.

Marketing Workshops
Our marketing workshops look at some of the fundamental areas of marketing. We explore things such as consumer behaviour and the decision-making process customers go through when purchasing products, how technology is shaping marketing, and a deep dive into understanding what branding really is.

Tourism, Events, and Sports Business Management Workshops
These workshops explore the sustainability of event tourism in a post Covid-19 world, how a robust communication strategy can deliver operational success to an event, and the development of sports and how sport impacts society.
